Prospekt comes from someone who’s been on every side of this game — a Division I pitcher who was drafted, then years spent coaching everything from rec ball to Division I baseball, evaluating the exact players trying to get where he’d already been.

WHY WE BUILT THIS
Every travel-ball season, parents put in real money — private lessons, showcases, tournament fees — and real time. But ask most of them to back up “you should really see him play” with something a recruiting coach would actually look at, and there’s nothing. A stat sheet from a scoring app, if that — not shareable, not tied to video, not built to follow a player past this one season.
Scoring apps do their job well — for the team. Walk away from a season of travel ball and what a player usually has is an export that’s hard to share and harder to make sense of. Coaches don’t just want a stat sheet. They want to see the swing or the delivery that produced those numbers, right alongside them.
Coaches can often tell the difference between a bad day and a real player. A lot can’t — or never get the chance to. Good players get passed over because one showcase, one camp, one outing was all a coach ever saw of them. A season of real data tells a fuller story than one afternoon does.
Years of coaching pitchers at a high level also meant watching arms get overused, over and over, often by people who meant well and just didn’t have the count in front of them. That’s the direct reason Arm Care sits right on the Home screen — a parent should be able to see exactly where their pitcher stands, mid-game, without having to ask.
